The transport network of the Republic includes rail, road, and air transport.
As of January 1, 2011, the length of public railway track in use is 304 km. The following railway tracks go through the Republic: Mozdok – Chervlennaya – Uzlovaya – Grozny, Chervlennaya – Uzlovaya – Kizlyar, Gudermes – Grozny, Chervlennaya – Uzlovaya – Khasavyurt.
As of January 1, 2011, the stretch of public paved roads is 6,059 km. Transportation links with other Russian regions are provided through federal motorways: Prokhladnaya – Kizlyar, Caucasus.
International and domestic air lines operate through Severniy airport in Grozny.
