The tourist complex is located in the Stavropol Krai territory, on and around the Yutsa mountain. It is at the distance of 10 km from Pyatigorsk and 35 km from Mineralnye Vody. Its total area is 843 hectares.
The complex is designed as an up-to-date balneology health resort, providing higher service quality, more flexible wellness programs and a wide range of related and entertainment activities for tourists.
The project provides for the construction of 20 objects including six modern SPA resorts and seven hotels. The schedule includes also the construction of an entertainment center, a medical center with a mudbath and a hydropathic, a golf course, a holiday village, a pump room, as well as health paths and horse riding area.
The new resort is designed for people with high and middle income. According to the plans, fourteen 4 and 5-star hotels, three golf courses, several tennis courts and other facilities will be built on the slopes of the Yutsa mountain.
Grand SPA Yutsa is a mineral water wellness and rejuvenation resort with a free-for-all thermal center, SPA hotels, an artificial lake, a sports center, a hang gliding and paragliding center, a golf course, a tennis court, a horse riding center, a convention hotel, and restaurants (the complex requires 422 mil. euro investments and 260 mil. euro budget funding with regard to its 7-year pay-back period).
The Grand SPA Yutsa project was represented at Investment Forum Sochi 2008. Its declared value was 15 billion rubles with the need for investment of 10 billion rubles.
